It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty McCloud of Newville, Alabama, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harmon McCloud and Laura McCloud; her siblings, Oneal, Norman, Olin, Coma McCloud, Malissie Ross, Calatha Crews, Naomi Williams, Jerlene Spann, Daisy Smith and Naydine Nelson; her daughters, LaVonda McCloud and Veronica Thompson (Michael); her grandchildren, Zamaria, Parisia, Robert Fields Jr., Destinee, MaKaila Thompson, Quincey, Kaiden Provens, Jordan, Trevin Fields, Zy'Lia Gilbert and Michael Thompson Jr.; her brother Joel McCloud Sr. (Mary); her nephews, Ralph Rodgers (Rose), Eddie Ray Spann (Pam) and Walter Spann (Patricia); and her close friends, Ola Mae Moore and Cynthia Davis. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
