We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 77, William Franklin Owen (Newton, Alabama), born in Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Broda Owen and Heneritta Owen O'Dell. He is survived by: his wife Debra Driskell Owen; his daughters, Kayce Carey (Christopher) and Kristen Owen; his grandchildren, Malcolm B. Carey (Alexandra), William Carey, Madelyn Carey, McKenna Carey, Lane Brumfield (Falon), Luke Brumfield (Olivia), Orry Brumfield and James Brumfield (Adrienne); his great grandchildren, Cash, Presley, Adeline, Cullen and Raynor Brumfield; and his sisters, Jean Wiehl of Raleigh, N. C., Sherry Phillips and Creola Martin of Fayetteville, N. C.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions can be made to the "Wounded Warrior Project," P.O. Box 758512, Topeka, KS, 66675.
