He was predeceased by: his children, David Sitton and Verna Sitton; his parents, Cora M. Heck Sitton and Benjamin Franklin Sitton; and his siblings, Loren Sitton, Chester Sitton, Ross Sitton and Dean Sitton.
He is survived by: his wife Alene Peters Sitton (Newton); and his adoptive sons, Lawrence "Trace" Baxter and Thomas Stephens (Dothan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
