He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Preston Dickerson, Sr. and Kathleen Cleverly Dickerson; his wife Cathy Turner Dickerson; his children, Jawania Steege (Jimmy), Loria Hawthorne (Blane) and Scott Dickerson (Christa); his brothers, Preston "Butch" Dickerson, Jr. (Nina), Jerry Dickerson (Debbie), Jimmy Dickerson (Sharon) and David Dickerson; and his grandchildren, Mark Wuolukka, Brandi Chavis, Dylan Chavis (Jade), Tyler Hawthorne (Candace), Micaela Morris (Matt), Amber Murphy, Kendall Dickerson and Phillip Dickerson (Regan).
