He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Jonell Stroble, Thomas A. Smith, Sr., Jean O. Smith and Myrtle Callahan; and his stepmother Martha J. Smith.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Tyler Smith; and his siblings, Tommy Smith, Linda Harden (Tim) and Mike Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
