He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Sanders and Lovie Gilley Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sanders; his children, Kirk Sanders (Jeanne), Delbert Sanders (Renee), Vann Shiver (Wendy), Scott Shiver and Michael Shiver; and his siblings, Roger Sanders, Milan Sanders, Carl Sanders, Richard Wells and Mary Ann Hatcher. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren; his 8 great-grandchildren.
