He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Alston McGhee and Mary Onita Giddens McGhee; and his siblings, William McGhee (Bill), Elaine McGhee Wolfe, Hilda McGhee O'Bryant, Ruth McGhee Chappell and Virginia Ann McGhee Sumners.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Faye Rich McGhee; his brother James Joseph McGhee (Jimmy) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Kendall Ward, Shelby Ward, Tyler Friesen, Hayden Friesen, Alex Friesen and Madison McGhee; and his great grandchildren, Laney Myers, Delilah Doheny and Cass Dunlap. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will accept flowers, but donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in hopes that a cure can be found for this dreadful disease.
