George Leon Scarbrough Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Leon Scarbrough of Newton, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Scarbrough and Cloye Hughes Scarbrough; and his brothers, Jerald Scarbrough and Herbert Scarbrough. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Scarbrough; his daughter Leslie Scarbrough Bartel (Eric); his grandchildren, Annabelle Grace Bartel, Sean Ryan Bartel and John Wyatt Bartel; and his sister Audrey Williams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
The family request that everyone attending the graveside please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
