She was predeceased by: her parents, George Seaborn Ward and Ida Mae Brown Ward; her brothers, Donald Wayne Ward and John Edward Ward; and her mother-in-law Jean Maddox Watson.

She is survived by: her husband Lennie Watson; her children, Kenny Lee Ward, Rehobeth, Shanna Shay Cook (Barry) of Puyallup, WA, Jonathan Andrew "Andy" DeWitt and James Leland Dutill; her stepdaughters, Dawn Webb (Joe) of Milton, FL and Jeanie Brown (Wesley); her brothers, George Ward, Bobby Frank Ward (Teresa) and Roy Robert Ward; and her grandchildren, Lydia Sharp, Olan Cook, Mason Cook, Levi Cook, Ella Cook, Reese Waters, Charley Webb, Maddie Webb, Jalynn Watson and Aaliyah "Ray" Sims.
