We bid farewell to Charles Bonner of Newton, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, G. B. Bonner and Loraine Weeks Bonner; his wife Betty Bonner; and his brothers, Leo Bonner and Earl Bonner.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Thomley, Cindy Wyatt and Ken Bonner (Yolanda); his grandchildren, Travis Bonner, Stephen Vallandingham, Joshua Thomley (Rebekkah), Rachal Gainey (Chris), Kennedy Bonner and Christian Wyatt; his great grandchildren, Abby Gainey, Taylor, Colton and Gunner Vallandingham; his sister Manillion "Missy" Norris; and his adoptive daughter Mary Guilford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pilgrim Home Baptist Church (13534 US-84, Newton, AL 36352). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Pilgrim Home Baptist Church Building Fund in Mr. Bonner's memory.
