She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas J. Nicholas and Lorraine Marie Pelletier. She is survived by: her husband William Walter Tibbits III; her children, Joy Tibbits (Dakota Clayton) of Douglasville and Alexander Tibbits (Christina Kuykendoll); her siblings, Debra Burress, Nicole Nicholas Carr and Michael John Nicholas; her siblings-in-law, Marie Tibbits, Leeann Perone and Dennis Tibbits; her grandchildren, Eli Nicholas Upshaw, Mia Marie Richardson, Sebastian Waldrop, Freya Elizabeth Tibbits and Lacey Kuykendoll; and her friend Oscar Servando of El Salvador.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Lung Association in memory of Sheryl Tibbits.
