He was predeceased by: his father Chester Wortham. He is survived by: his children, Lacey Blankenship of Newell, Jessica Leach (Chris) of Newell, Abbie Williams of Athens, AL, Ashleigh Saxon of Anniston, Ethan Jake Wortham of Roanoke and Micah Saxon of Anniston; his brother Scott Wortham of Newell; and his mother Wanda Creed Wortham of Newell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iduma Congregational Methodist Church (1101 Co Rd 258, Wedowee, AL 36278).
