She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Johnson and Alberta Cook Johnson; her husband Haywood Flinn Stokes Jr.; and her brother Johnny Johnson of Cottondale, Alabama.. She is survived by: her children, Dena Tucker (Ricky), Sharon Stokes and Haywood F. Stokes III (Betty) of Newburn, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cassity (Ryan) of Gallion, Dr. Jamie Lynn Tucker, PharmD of Chinle, Jaclyn Rogers (Matthew) of Greensboro, Sydney and Kristopher Stokes (Megan) of Greenboro, Alabama; her great grandchildren, Madeline Bushaw (Brandon), Marianna Pearson, Katie Marie Hewitt, Stokes Hewitt, Drew Rogers, Addie Grace Rogers, Emma Flinn Rogers, Colton Fisher, Colby Fisher and Sawyer Stokes; her siblings, Linda Wyatt (Gary) of Northport, Alabama, Dencil Johnson of Cottondale and Charles Johnson of Greensboro; and her sister-in-law Mary Stokes Westbrook of Linden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
