He was predeceased by: his parents, Posey Johnson and Lorene Johnson; his brother Roy Johnson; and his nephew Michael Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Frances Johnson; his children, Ronald Johnson Jr., Brian Johnson, Brenna O'Brien and Derek Lovelace; his sisters, Juanita Riddle and Beverly Acuff (Jerome); and his nephews, Aaron Acuff, Christopher Acuff and Ricky Johnson. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial with military honors will be in Charity Cemetery.
