She was predeceased by: her parents, Waymon Payne and Cora Batt Payne; and her sisters, Doris Jones, Janette Price, Barbara Pressnell and Thelma Goodpasture.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie Thompson; her children, Amanda Ware Patterson, Keith Ware (Bridgette) and Scott Thompson (Sissy); her grandchildren, Morgan Templet and Connor Bevill; and her sisters, Ruth Phillips of Phoenix, AZ, Joann Durham of Huntsville Al, Carol Jackson, Kathleen Graves of Harvest Al and Maxine Barlowe of Madison Al. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
