She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Almon Houston and Lillie Mae Houston (Miller); her husband Ronald A. Pollard; her son Rickey D. Pollard; and her sisters, Verna McElyea, Anita Bissett and Ethyl Gray.
She is survived by: her brother John A. Houston (Marge); her daughters, Teresa Pollard Veeneman (Thomas) and Sheri Pollard-Elvin (late Glen); her grandchildren, Bobby Dale Simmons (Joy), Andrew Elvin and Braeden Elvin; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Simmons and Luca Simmons. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Huntsville Memory Gardens Cemetery (6810 University Drive NW, Hwy 72 W, Huntsville, AL 35806).
