She is survived by: her son James "Jimmy" Hester; her daughter-in-law Patricia Hester; her sister Emma Longmire; her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Holcomb, Shane Hester, Chris Hester, Ricky Hester, Darryl Keel, Michelle Keel, Shona Hester, James Hester and Jason Hester; and her friends, Olivia and Aleyah Teague. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
