She was predeceased by: her son Elton Lee Poore; her sisters, Bessie Sneed, Roberta Ressigue and Madelyn "Mae" Foster Hillis; and her parents, Samuel Hillis and Minnie Jane Hillis.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Lamb, Portia Case, Vickie Holmes, Donna Roberts and Dennis Poore; and her sister Mary Seals. She is also survived by 21 grand-children and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
