She was predeceased by: her husbands, Talmadge Steakley and Joe Sharp; her son Tim Steakley; her stepson Jimmy Ray Sharp; her parents, Querless Johnson and Mary Florence Tipton Johnson; and her siblings, Owen Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Edith Johnson, Lucille Tate, Myrtle Shores, Mildred Fitch and Nell Southard.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Steakley (Shirley); her sister Grace Sharp; her grandchildren, JoAnna Steakley McFall, Elizabeth Johnson, Kristi Steakley Dotson and Korey Steakley; and her stepchildren, Mona Hopper, Charles Sharp and Teddy Sharp.
