It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Medlen (New Market, Alabama), born in Madison, Alabama, who passed away on July 12, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Daniel Wesley. She is survived by: her parent Bertha Payne Whitehead; her husband Bob Medlen; her children, Bobby Medlen, Kathy Medlen, Danny Medlen, Carol Medlen, Bart Medlen and Sheri Medlen; her sister Joyce Nunley; her grandchildren, Jennifer Huotari, Joe Huotari, Daniel Medlen, Sara Medlen, Matthew Medlen, Tyler Medlen, Jacob Medlen, Sophia Medlen, Monica Master and Cason Master; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Westbury, McCarron, Graham and Sully-Kate Medlen.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson foundation http://www.parkinson.org Visitation will be Saturday 12-2PM at Bevills Chapel Baptist Church.
