She was predeceased by: her husband J. C. Pennington. She is survived by: her children, John Pennington (Melody), Mikel Pennington (Patsy) and Carol Pennington Lyon (Brad); her grandchildren, Callie Pennington Shown (Robert), Mallory Pennington Clayton (Morgan), Kathryn Pennington, Kyle Adams, Cassie Pennington, Wesley Pennington and Kayla Lyon; and her great grandchildren, Ollie Shown, Brianna Shown, Scarlett Clayton and Bennett Clayton.
