He was predeceased by: his parents, James David and Mary Gertrude Campbell Edwards; his siblings, James, Bob Edwards, Irene Wells, Olene Jacks, Marie Self and Sally Johnson; and his half-brothers, Ollie and Harvey Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Edwards of Fayetteville; his children, Harold Jeffery Edwards of Hazel Green and Pam Quick of Huntsville; his stepdaughter Angela Brooks of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Blackwood and Amber Norton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew, cousins and friends.
