He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Whitt and Lucille Whitt (Douglas); his daughter Michelle Sisk; and his brothers, Doyle, Garry and Steve Whitt.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Whitt (Bridges) of Madison; his son Paul Whitt (Christie) of Brevard, NC; his grandchildren, Emily, Jackson Whitt of Brevard, NC and Alexander (Madeline) of Lancaster, PA; his great grandchild Walker David Glen Whitt of Lancaster, PA; his siblings-in-law, Betty Whitt of Madison, Barbara Whitt of Huntsville, Lisa Whitt of Arab, Jimmy Bridges (Regina) and Ronnie Bridges of Columbus, GA; and his son-in-law Steve Sisk of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given in his name to Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville.
