He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady and Jeanette; his sister Doris; and his daughters, Donna Varchetta and Rebecca Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Satterfield; his children, Kathy Axelson (Jamie) and Greg Satterfield (Joannie); his son-in-law George Varchetta; and his grandchildren, Shane Scott (Nicole), Cindy Scott-Phillips, Josh Clark (Stacy), Michael Varchetta, Hayley Clark and Allen Satterfield. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
