It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Helser of New Market, Alabama, born in Palmer, Nebraska, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Helser and Ruth Gammon Helser; and his sisters, Lola Smith and Alvana Paulsen. He is survived by: his wife Helen Helser; his children, Karen Thiry (Lou), Brian Helser (Karen), Dona Baker (Kerry) and Kelly Helser (Amy); his stepchildren, Debra Gillespie (Carroll), Randy Bailey (Sharon) and Brian Bailey; and his daughter Sarah. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
