It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Pendergraft of New Market, Alabama, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Joey "Bo" Maples; her parents, Joseph Wheeler Pendergraft Sr. and Ola Kate Newgent Pendergraft; her siblings, James Cagle, Iva Jean Lamb, Rachel Lamb, Alta Moore, Faye Brewer and Joseph "Mousey" Pendergraft; her grandson Joshua Maples; her children, Cynthia Leopold (Bill), Brenda Pogue Skipworth (Dean), Johnny Maples and Pamela Pogue; and her siblings, Robert Pendergraft and Katie Brewer. She was also cherished by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
