It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Jean Rittner Owens of New Hope, Alabama, born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rittner and Billie Rittner; and her daughter Wendy VanOosten. She is survived by: her son-in-law Boyd C. Owens; her husband Boyd C. Owens; her daughters, Kerry Lemley, Stephanie Owens Davis (William) and Susan Watson (Michael); and her grandchildren, Katrina Watson, Ashley Conner and Cody VanOosten.
