With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Lloyd Atchley of New Hope, Alabama, born in Woodville, Alabama, who passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Atchley and Bertha Smith Atchley; and his brothers, Donald Ray, James Alton, Billy Jo and Homer Atchley.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Atchley; his children, Eric Atchley (Tina), Tracey Edmonds (Vince) and Dana Gehret (Linda); his grandchildren, Ashleigh Dean Fuss (Owen), Alix Edmonds (Cade), Hunter Edmonds and Jared Haymaker; and his sister Vivian Frame.
