She is survived by: her children, Annette Simmons (Carlos) and Thomas Childers (Rodney); her grandsons, Austin Gowan (Yazzie), John Gowan (Monae) and Carson Gowan (Mary); her great great grandchildren, Kaison Gowan, Gracie Gowan and Baby Gowan; her sister Pearline Kimbrough; her niece Lisa Chastain (Greg); and her brother-in-law Howard Flippo (Ann). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
