With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lester T. Dilworth of New Hope, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Julia M. Dilworth; his parents, Bun Dilworth and Grace Dilworth; and his siblings, Thelma Williams, Maggie Lipscomb, Nell Dilworth, Herman Dilworth and Ted Dilworth.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Davis (Bobby) and Larry Dilworth, Sr. (Remona); his grandchildren, Chris Davis (Natalie), Kelly Key (Chris), Tina Graham (Greg) and Larry Dilworth Jr. (Alexandria); his great grandchildren, Claudia Anders (Dalton), Charlee Rece Bearden, Brody Dilworth, Noah Bearden, Bryson Graham, Abby Graham and Alyson Dowdy (Tyler); and his great great grandchild Presleigh Anders. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
