Horace W. Hubbard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, at the age of 90, Horace W. Hubbard (New Hope, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Horace is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Horace's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hubbard and Lize Hubbard; his wife Irene M. Hubbard; his son Horace Wayne Hubbard; and his daughter-in-law Anita Hubbard.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Swagert (Richard), Terry Hubbard (Barbara), Jerry Hubbard and Danny Hubbard (Connie); and his siblings, Buddy Hubbard (June) and Lola Bryant. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Walker Cemetery (32200 US-431, Grant, AL 35747).
