He was predeceased by: his parents, Paris Franklin, Sr. and Odell Bennett (Widner); his son Scotty Bennett; and his brothers, Paris Jr., James Billy and Leo Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Bennett (Campbell); his sisters, Betty Loveday and Jane Bennett; his daughters, Davie Bennett-Kendall (Mike) and Stephanie Shaneyfelt (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Gavin Swain, Ryan Swain, Zed Shaneyfelt, Ginny Morris and Anna Yoder. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760).
