He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Whitehead; his stepfather Arie Whitehead; his brothers, John Whitehead, Gene Whitehead, Billy Joe Whitehead and Jerry Wayne Whitehead; his significant other Lucille Kimbrough; his stepdaughter Janice Lemley; and his sister Jo Ann Mashburn.
He is survived by: his brother George Whitehead (Donna Currie); his granddaughter Melissa Morrow (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Lindsay Morrow and Summer Morrow; his stepchildren, Truman Kimbrough (Pansy), James Kimbrough (Diane), Betty Anders and Mary Clark (Jerry); and his nephews, Terry Whitehead (Pam), Mickey Raymond Whitehead and Will R. Whiteheard. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
