We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2024, at the age of 88, Billy Ray McElyea (New Hope, Alabama), born in New Market, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton McElyea and Sudie McElyea; and his siblings, Maurice, Martin McElyea, Velda Ricketts, Wilma Stephens and Thelma Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Stephens McElyea; his daughters, Kelly Penny (John), Pam Chamberlain, Michelle Hallum and Tara Walls (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Michael McElyea, Stephen Walls, Wesley Hallum, Jacob Hallum, Matthew Walls and Chris Neutze. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
