She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Saronah Rowan of Collinsville; her husband Olen Wayne Brown of New Brockton; and her siblings, Mildred Henderson (Neiman), Maurine Neely, Lucille Prator, Jean West, Charley Rowan (Gail), Ethel Selman (Frank) and Thomas Rowan (Helen). She is also survived by her husband, all five of her children, her best friend.
