She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie W. Parker and Oyer Ruth Sorrells Parker; her husband Eugene "Gene" Sewell; her granddaughter Crystal Morris; her son-in-law Ricky Taylor; and her siblings, Sue Stafford and Charles Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Sewell of Westville, FL, Terry Sewell and Sheila Taylor of New Brockton, AL; and her grandchildren, Gary Sewell, Brad Sewell (Cassie), Tyler Sewell, Brian Taylor (Jessica) and Bron Taylor (April). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM, on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Samson, AL 36477).
