She was predeceased by: her son Randal Shannon; and her parents, Richard Kennedy and Nezzie Kennedy. She is survived by: her husband Kirby E. Shannon of New Brockton, AL; her daughter Deborah Ann Boyke (James P.); and her sister Sue Greer of Mendenhall, MS..
