She was predeceased by: her parents, Renzor Strickland and Willie Nicholson Strickland of New Brockton; her husband Lamar Griffin; her siblings, Raymond Strickland of New Brockton, Gene Strickland of Elba and Maxine Elliott (James) of Enterprise; her son Lanny Griffin of New Brockton; her granddaughter Brandi Griffin Colli of Mobile; and her brother-in-law Dwain Nolin of New Brockton.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Griffin (Sandy) of New Brockton, Lori Johnson (Larry) of Enterprise and Leigh Seaton (Kevin) of New Brockton; her sister Willene Nolin of New Brockton; and her sister-in-law Janice Strickland of Elba. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
