She is survived by: her daughter Janna Carter; and her grandchildren, Cody Carter, Jessica Bryant, Payton Merriex, Janessa Merriex, Justin Harrison, Amanda Harrison, Marcus Harrison, Toni Avery and Tracy Avery.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 Harris Hwy, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
