She is survived by: her husband Virgle Leon Strickland of New Brockton, AL; her children, Mirenda Bell (Jerome) of Rutledge, AL, Amanda Broxson (Eric) of Enterprise, AL, Stacey Austin (Heather) of New Brockton, AL, Josh McCall of Geneva, AL and Kyle Strickland of New Brockton, AL; her grandchildren, Marisa Quick (Jesse), Jesse Bell (Helaina), Aaron Bell, Bryson Austin, Caden Austin, Sael Strickland, Yoh Strickland, Shaya Strickland, Riah Strickland, Kaysley Broxson and Camden Broxson; and her siblings, Ann Rudd (Harry) of Dallas, GA, Phyllis Wegener of Douglasville, GA and Jim Mims (Dee Dee) of Prosper, TX.. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory (1301 Neal Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Calendar Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery (2235 Co Rd 156, Enterprise, AL 36330).
