He was predeceased by: his parents, Mixon Carmichael and Fostine Carmichael; and his brothers, John G., Hulon and Robert Carmichael.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Carmichael of New Brockton, AL; his daughters, Jackie Gilley (Marty) and Ginger Brunson (Byron); his grandchildren, John Bradshaw (Faith), Ginny Ann Penton (Josh), Dalton Bradshaw (J. Hill), Kathryn Hadden (Justin), Dylan Bradshaw of Troy, AL, Paige Ireland (Brian) and Elizabeth Jones (Tyler); and his siblings, Mixon Carmichael (Ora), Joe Carmichael (Pam), Ann Day (Donald) and Jill Moates (Ben). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 5 great-grandchildren.
