He is survived by: his wife Patricia W. Mixson; his daughter Donna Simmons; his daughter-in-law Eddie Mixson (Sharon); his grandchildren, Hannah Mixson, Tyler Simmons (Rena) and Luke Simmons (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Jon Simmons, Reeves Simmons, Jud Simmons and Walker Simmons.
