It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Griffin of New Brockton, Alabama, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wilburn "Gene" Griffin; her parents, William Hilyer and Virginia Hilyer; her mother-in-law Helen Dorr; and her siblings, William Lawrence Hilyer, William Edward Hilyer and Gloria Denny.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Lisa Hilyer of New Brockton, AL; her nieces, Pamela Hilyer of New Brockton, AL, Kelley Benway (Shawn) of New Brockton, AL, Jennifer Hadwin (Ryan) of Chancellor, AL and Jessica Rogers (Jonathan) of Elba, AL; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hailey Hadwin, Allie Benway, Alexis Benway, Matthew Hogan, Brody Benway and Jonathan Rogers, Jr..
