He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Miller Busby and Fannie Grace Turner Busby; his granddaughter Ambra Danielle Busby; his great grandchild Aulbrie Fayeth Taylor; and his siblings, Martin Miller Busby, Gary William Busby, Sr. and Sandra Kay Busby.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Faye Jenkins Busby; his children, Tommy Jenkins (Stephanie) of Needham, Phillip Averette (Adrienne) of Gilbertown, Donna Busby of Butler and Rhonda Rhodes (Christopher) of Butler; and his siblings, Randy Dale Busby of Needham, Danny Ray Busby of Needham, Belinda Gail Hearn (Ernest) of Lisman, Ellen Moore of Needham and Debbie Morgan of Mobile. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren.
