He is survived by: his children, James Michael Newton (Sandy) of Thomasville, AL, Claude Dean Newton (Claudia) of Toledo, OH, Patricia Ann Goldsmith (Paul) of Batesville, IN and Miyoko Joan Bell (David) of Long Valley, NJ; and his siblings, William Newton of Toxey, AL, Marguerite Stephenson of Congress, OH and Susie Snively of Congress, OH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
