She was predeceased by: her husband Ezell Whittington; her son Michael Lee Whittington; her parents, Milton C. Broadhead and Rena Sturdivant Broadhead; and her siblings, Eugene Broadhead (Lois), S. L. Broadhead (Joann), Hermes Broadhead (Joyce), Zeola Broadhead Thompson (Crawford), Maxine Broadhead Roberts (Burl) and Genera Broadhead Mosley (Basil).
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Maxine Whittington Bailey (Phillip Gray Bailey) of Meridian, MS; her daughter-in-law Melendie Thompson Whittington of Gilbertown, AL; her brother Dempsey Broadhead (Frances) of Meridian, MS; her grandchildren, Dustin Michael Whittington (Nicole Guinn Whittington), Danly Matthew Whittington (Ashley Nicole), Ashley Nicole Whittington Pruitt (Harvey Lance Pruitt) and Haley Rena Su Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Rachael Serena Whittington, Mary Catherine Whittington, Joshua David Shaw, Charlie William Whittington, Michael Keith Whittington, Draven Gauge Owens, Hunter Lee Pruitt, Gabrielle Alexis Pruitt and Holden Luke Pruitt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
