He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Fields, Jr. and Bobbie Jean Busby Fields; and his sister Kimberly Rene Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Alvin L. Fields and Denise "Jesse" Fields; his stepchildren, Jeff "Red" Roland and Sherry Garcia; and his sister Mable Sharlene Bohannon (Earnest). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
