Wealthia was predeceased by: parents, Jack E. Barker and Ellen Inez Barker; son James David Veal; brother J. W. Barker; sister-in-law Inez Barker; brother Harold Barker; sister-in-law Eugenia Barker; brothers, Charles Barker and Jimmy E. Barker; and brother-in-law Earl Ganey.

Wealthia is survived by: spouse Jimmy Wayne Veal; son Michael Wayne Veal; daughter-in-law Janice Veal; grandsons, Derek Veal (Melissa Veal) and Joey Veal (Angela Veal); sister Faye Ganey; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Barker and Judy Barker. Wealthia is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
