He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas C. McNutt, Sr.; his brother James Kelley; and his nephew Zachary McNutt. He is survived by: his spouse Fredricka B. McNutt of Northport; his children, Adrienne M. Gann of Northport and Thomas McNutt III (Teresa) of Northside; his brother Robert Lee McNutt of Tuscaloosa; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Thomas McNutt of Tuscaloosa, Jace T. McNutt of Northside, Jesslyn Hope McNutt of Tuscaloosa and Madison Faythe Gann of Northport.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Carroll's Creek Baptist Church or Gideons.
