She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Hassell and Josephine Hassell; her grandparents, Powell and Ludy Hassell; her brother Bill Hassell; and her sons, John and Pierce.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Ray Pierce of Dogtown, AL; her daughters, Janell Garrison (Randall) of Carbon Hill, AL and Amanda Sims (Jeff) of Oakman, AL; her siblings, Andrea Barck, Jeanie Fagg, Lee Hassell and Shane Hassell; and her grandchildren, Adam Garrison, Jacob Garrison, Lauren Sims, Emily Sims, Stone Keeton and Dillon Keeton.
